CleanEarth Industrial Services is adding full time Technician Assistants to their safety-oriented team in Enfield NS.
**THE OPPORTUNITY**
Technician Assistants are responsible for assisting with the safe operation of the vacuum trucks and other equipment, assisting with spill clean-ups and waste removal, and perform labour as a member of the field crew. There is an on-call rotation for emergency response duty for unscheduled spill, natural disaster, and other environmental clean-ups. This position may require occasional paid overnight travel up to 1-2 weeks at a time during the busy season.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
Comply with all safe work practices, policies, and act is a safe manner at all times to ensure the Health and Safety of the work environment;
Assist in safe operation of all equipment;
Assist with loading and unloading of trucks and containers;
Rigging equipment in and out;
Ensuring job site placement of the equipment is safe, stable and secure;
General equipment and shop clean-up and maintenance
Maintain daily logs, worksheets, timecards
Communicates with dispatchers and supervisors throughout the day;
Work as part of a team with customers, coworkers and supervisors
**QUALIFICATIONS**
Regulatory safety tickets are considered an asset (e.g. First Aid with CPR, H2S, Confined Space Entry);
Ability to perform heavy lifting repeatedly;
Ability to work with mínimal supervision, in a team and in a safety focused environment;
Ability to work outside in various weather conditions for extended periods of time;
Previous industrial or field experience is considered an asset;
Willingness to travel is considered an asset
