Reporting to the Manager Cargo Marketing, the Cargo Marketing Manager will be responsible for the implementation, quality and on-going management of marketing communications and promotional campaigns that support the Air Canada Cargo brand and product marketing strategies.

Specifically, this position will manage the day-to-day executional success of the Commercial marketing team activities and work with the creative team to execute on the annual marketing plan. They will work with the Commercial marketing team to ensure that the Air Canada brand is adhered to globally, and provide support to the regional and global sales teams, commercial product marketing managers, and operational teams for Air Canada Cargo's brand, business, and products and solutions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Deliver on annual marketing campaigns against Air Canada Cargo business objectives
- Responsible for weekly, monthly, or quarterly project status reporting, identifying project risks and opportunities
- Support day-to-day Air Canada Cargo business needs through intaking product briefs, crafting marketing briefs and ensuring the creation of marketing-oriented materials for use in relevant B2B channels
- Active monitoring of competitive landscape and market trends - i.e. overarching global trends, consumer needs, emerging categories and benefits
- Monitor usage and compliance of the brand guidelines at HQ as well as on local levels
- Create product briefs, craft marketing briefs, and ensure the creation of marketing-oriented materials for use in relevant B2B channels and to support sales
- Support paid media planning, buying and execution
- Responsible for development and delivery of marketing materials such as digital and print campaigns, flyers, brochures, PowerPoint decks, sales sheets, and other documents as appropriate, in collaboration with the creative team
- Work in close collaboration with the tradeshow team to support Air Canada Cargo events and key marquee events
- Responsible for merchandise development to support sales teams and marketing activities, in collaboration with the Sales Marketing & Event Support Manager
- Management and coordination of award submissions, as needed
- Develop strong and collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams (Sales, Regulatory/Legal, Operations, etc.) to drive project success

**Qualifications**
- University degree in Communications, Marketing or equivalent
- 3-5+ years of relevant marketing experience; air cargo/logistics/B2B experience is an asset
- Experience in through-the-line marketing channels, including print, digital, video, trade shows/events, and social media channels
- Excellent writing and editing skills and ability to guide creative content
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working independently and within a team environment assisting colleagues whenever possible
- Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple, simultaneous priorities in a fast-paced, quickly moving environment
- Passion for ingenuity, creativity, and initiative
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud products (InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, etc.)
- Experience working with agencies; Agency experience is preferred
- Bilingual English and French is preferred
- This position can be located in Montreal (Dorval) or Toronto
