**What** will I do?*
As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible to develop new business through actively prospecting and meeting with prospective clients to discuss the landscape of their current Group Benefits/Group Retirement program.
**Responsibilities (but not limited to)**:
- Develop new business through actively prospecting by utilizing business directories, cold calling, and building relationships.
- Manage all aspects of the client relationship. This includes all administration of the account and handling all communication with the insurance carriers; liaising with the insurance carriers and clients.
- Create a variety of reports including services, renewals, RTQs, sales, and implementation
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients throughout the life of the relationship.
**What **we need from you**:
- Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience with a proven track record
- Strong phone presence and comfortable making cold calls daily
- Strong “Hunter” approach to sales with the ability to create, grow and manage your block of business.
- Strong communication skills, professional demeanour, and presentation
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- A valid driver's license and vehicle
**It’s a bonus if you have**:
- LLQP license or willing to obtain
- Knowledge/experience in group benefits and group retirement services
- GBA or RPA designation
