**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for indoor and outdoor housekeeping cleaning
- Cleaning of designated areas including resident rooms on a daily basis as per housekeeping schedules.
- Stocking of cleaning supplies in the appropriate locations. Ensure that the cleaning cart is organized, restocked and replenished as required.
- Daily collection and disposal of garbage and recycling.
- Ensure that main floor areas, café, offices, elevators, computer areas, common areas and floors are cleaned as per schedule.
- Assist with room turn overs when a room vacancy arises.
- Learn the function of all cleaning machines within Lions Housing Centre.

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Janitorial/cleaning experience.
- Previous experience working with dispensed cleaning chemicals and various cleaning equipment an asset.
- Able to read, write and speak English
- Able to follow both written and verbal instructions
- Able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Capable of adjusting schedule to daily changing demands.
- Experience working with or around or in a facility that houses seniors is an asset.

**Required Documents**:

- Clear Criminal Record Check and Adult Abuse Registry
- This is a unionized position.
