**Vice President, Solutions** Impact XM develops solutions for virtual and live events. We are looking for a **Vice President, Solutions** to join our team. The Vice President, Solutions is a primary member of the estimating and pre-sale team who has overall responsibility for the creation and solutioning of budgets, estimates, detailed scopes of work and related proposal components. The VP Solutions is responsible for the oversight of the presale and estimating process as well as oversees standardized procedures, methods, and processes required to create a collaborative approach between NBD/Client Services, Strategy/Creative, Estimating, Production/Operations, Field Services, and other applicable departments. **RESPONSIBILITIES**: - Motivate the Estimating team to plan, analyze, and define the most effective solutions to support the execution of client projects. - Act as liaison between NBD/Client Services, Strategy, Creative, Estimating, Production/Operations, Field Services, Meetings & Events, and other applicable departments involved in the presale process. - Work with the Presale team to establish Preliminary Budget Snapshots for large project to identify guidelines and budget allotments for key project areas. - Work closely with Creative team members throughout the process to provide regular budget checks to minimize budget challenges and design revisions. - Drive, efficiency, standardization and consistency of the Presale Process, estimates, and SOWs by line of business. - Partner with VP Technology and department leads to continuously improve tools and processes. - Collaborate with the Purchasing Manager and VP Operations to solidify and nurture strong vendor partnerships. - Consider sustainability initiatives during solutioning. - Ensure Estimating team confirms pricing and lead times of materials and vendors during the estimating process. - Communicate regularly with VP and Director of Operations to understand when overtime and rush charges must apply. - Evaluate actual hours and costs against estimates. - Analyze historical data to identify trends and areas of potential price adjustments. - Manage, support, and assist with the onboarding and ongoing training of the estimating staff. - Keep current on new materials, new suppliers, market conditions and industry trends and disseminate information to the team. **REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS**: - Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university; and 5+ years’ team management experience or similar experience successfully driving teams on programs and projects and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Experience with Trade Shows, Events, and Brand Activations is highly desirable. - Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. - Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Strong organizational and time management skills. - Detail-oriented with stellar follow-up aptitude. - Ability to operate under tight time constraints and immovable deadlines. - Embodies flexibility, open-mindedness, and receptivity. - Ability to actively work out solutions. - Strong business sense - Works well as part of a team and able to effectively collaborate. - Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. - Minimal travel required - Up to 15% **About Impact XM** Impact XM is a global event and experiential marketing agency that empowers brands to power business—and has nearly 50 years in business to prove it.
