As the Area Manager, you’ll be on the front lines, solving operational and logístical issues while supporting the needs of stakeholders. A strong leader and communicator, you will become a trusted advisor to our clients with the ability and experience required to advise and support our staff.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Manage and support all employees on Vancouver Island (Victoria & Nanaimo) including valet services at hotels and patrol operations
- Assist departments as needed with a hands on approach
- Maintain and enhance relationships with clients
- Conduct regular visits to all locations to ensure efficient operation and to control/manage any issues
- Oversee and ensure that all cash and audit procedures are being followed
- Review and report on P&L Statements
- Oversee the management of all customer complaints
- Manage and train new employees and supervisors
- Lead teams and ensure that parking related issues are dealt with immediately
- Ensure regular inspection reports are being conducted by field and/or maintenance staff
- Oversee all projects within scope (contracts, new equipment, renovations, etc.)
- Work with HR to address all employee related issues such as pay raises, position changes, disciplines and terminations

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- 2 years of related operational and management experience
- Valid Class 5 License with reliable transportation
- College diploma and/or University degree
- Strong relationship management skills with employees, colleagues, customers, and business partners
- Ability to make decisions under pressure, problem solve, and set appropriate priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
