**Location**:125 Edilcan Drive, Concord ON, L4K 3S6 (in-person position)

**Type of Employment**:Full-time, covering a maternity leave

**OVERVIEW**

Reporting to, and working with the CFO, the Financial Analyst is responsible for leading and motivating the Accounts Receivables team - providing guidance and support for professional development. The Financial Analyst has the responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with monthly and quarterly close processes, by preparing supporting schedules such as supplier rebates, bank reconciliations, customer accruals, and sales reporting.
  • Implement automation and technology solutions to streamline receivables workflows.
  • Assisting accounts receivable and invoicing department with issues and finding solutions to resolve them.
  • Liaising with the Sales Team to prepare sales budget; consolidating input from Sales Team into the sales budget template for review by internal management.
  • Tracking and reporting KPIs to assist in timely decision making.
  • Assist with internal audits as needed.
  • Taking ownership of special projects, as assigned - mostly with the ERP.
  • Review billing processes to identify opportunities for efficiency and improvements.
  • Identify opportunities for technology integration to streamline processes and improve automation.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to implement and optimize technology solutions that support process improvements.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-orientated work environment.
  • Any other related duties as assigned by senior management.

**REQUIREMENTS**

To ensure success in this role, the following requirement should be considered

  • Accounting designation is required
  • At least 3 years of related experience
  • Must have advanced Microsoft Excel skills and be willing to potentially demonstrate
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to work in a team environment
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to successfully manage multiple projects with varying deadlines
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada

**KEY SUCCESS MEASURES**

  • Accurate and timely reporting
  • Reports are completed without error - reports and documentation align with the needs of the organization and are delivered on time.
  • Approachable, but also able to initiate the conversation to problem solve.
  • Ability to recognize mistakes, have the willingness to learn from the mistakes, and help to create corrective actions.

**BACKGROUND CHECK REQUIREMENT**

**Salary**: $85,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
