**General Function**

The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for the shipping and receiving of product from our vendors and customers. The incumbent will use a forklift and scanning equipment to complete job duties.

**Responsibilities**:
**Shipping**:

- Order picking and preparing orders for shipping
- Truck inspections
- Booking transportation for customer orders
- Completing paperwork for outgoing orders (shipping orders, bills of lading, packing slips, lot numbers, etc.)
- Loading trucks with outgoing products

**Receiving**:

- Receiving products into warehouse
- Checking product against packing list and purchase order
- Labeling and storage of all incoming product
- Completing of paperwork on incoming product (inventory receiving's, bills of lading, etc.)
- Inspection of truck and product
- Booking appointments for receiving’s
- Unloading trucks with incoming product

**General Warehouse**:

- Responsible for daily warehouse and office clean up
- Equipment maintenance: complete daily checklist for forklifts, etc.
- Use Scanning equipment for movement of all product
- Customer service with transportation company representatives
- Assist with Inventory Control
- Ensure all activities and proceedings are following outlined safety and procedure guidelines
- Follow “Clean as you Go” practice
- Direct questions and concerns to warehouse supervisor
- Other duties as may be assigned

**A) Knowledge and Experience**
- Trained to operate associated equipment safely.
- Forklift certification
- Competent communication skills
- Competent computer knowledge
- Detail orientation in regards to organization, equipment function, and cleanliness
- Ability to work with the team and act independently to achieve standards.

**B) Authority**:

- Safe operation of equipment
- To identify equipment malfunctions, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels.
- To initiate action to prevent the occurrence of product non-conformity.
- To identify and record any product quality problems.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.21-$22.50 per hour
