The Whole Grain Hearth is a small bakery in London, ON We create naturally fermented sourdough bread, rustic pastries and a variety of other items with our freshly milled (in-house) flours.

We are looking for two Farmer's Market Sales Associates. Someone to run our booth at the Komoka Community Market and another to run our booth at the Horton Farmer's Market (St. Thomas). These are seasonal positions (August - October) and run every Saturday (6:30AM - 2:00PM ~ hours may vary) during market season. Looking to hire within the next two weeks.

As a sales associate, you will be working our booth at the downtown Covent Garden Market (outdoors) and will be tasked with unloading and setting up the booth, interacting with customers and selling and promoting our products, packing treats and processing transactions through our POS system, Square. **Full G licence and reliable, larger vehicle required + cellular data.**

Responsibilities/Requirements:
+ Set-up & Take down of farmer's market booth (setting up 10x10 tent, table possible)

+ Be comfortable describing & selling a variety of pastries/loaves to customers + chatting is a must

+ Lifting 35-50LBs (carrying racks of bread/treats)

+ The ability to stand outdoors for several hours at a time (weather/wasps may occur)

+ Food handlers certificate beneficial

+ The ability to transport bakery related items in your vehicle (gas expenses & data covered) or have a record free G licence

+ Process transactions using personal device through our Square POS system

**Job Types**: Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 7 - 10 per week
