Avant Brands Inc. is a Kelowna-based cannabis company dedicated to cultivating premium quality cannabis in purpose-built indoor facilities. Avant has four licensed and operational cultivation facilities across three provinces (B.C., Alberta, Ontario). Avant’s brand portfolio includes: BLK MKT, Tenzo, GreenTec, Cognōscente and Treehugger. Avant is a publicly traded corporation, listed on the TSX ('AVNT').

Position: Sales & Marketing Associate

Location: Kelowna Corporate Office

Reporting To: Director of Sales, with secondary reporting to the Director of Marketing

Key Responsibilities:

1. Administrative work, including Provincial Liquor Board and/or Health Canada paperwork.
2. Sales analysis, including analyzing sales trends, pricing & promotions, sales tracking & forecasting.
3. Sourcing & distributing sales materials, such as branded attire, displays, and promotional items.
4. Supporting the sales team with various projects.
5. Addressing questions, concerns, and complaints from clients & consumers.
6. Performing other duties as assigned.

Candidate Profile: An intelligent, diligent, and creative individual with outstanding interpersonal skills. Proficiency in office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, Adobe) is required. Relevant education and experience in sales & marketing, especially within the cannabis or related industry, are preferred.
