**Job Purpose**

The Retail Sales & Support is responsible for securing and maintaining retail customers. This position will support the Sales and Communications team and all sales functions.

**Responsibilities and Duties**

The Retail Sales & Support responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

- Use CRM software daily to log customer interactions and track retailer sales deals through the onboarding process
- Develop and maintain relationships with current retailers to grow sales and brand awareness
- Partner with the Sales Manager to design and implement strategic sales plans that expand the company’s customer base and ensure a strong presence in the Canadian market
- Track sales metrics and report data to the Sales Manager on regular basis
- Attend industry tradeshows
- Schedule and lead remote and/or in-store employee training and product knowledge information sessions
- Track, measure, and report ROI on tradeshows, in-store training, and PK information days
- Other tasks as assigned by your manager

**Working Relationships**
- This position will support the Sales and Communications team and work closely with Warehouse and Logistics.

**Education Requirements**
- High-school diploma or equivalent
- Business Administration or equivalent education considered an asset but not required

**Competencies**
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional and welcoming demeanor
- Customer service experience
- Experience building and maintaining customer relationships
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of the pet food industry an asset
- Experience using a CRM software
- Fishbowl and HubSpot experience considered an asset
- Basic bookkeeping experience considered an asset but not required
- Experience assisting in developing SOP’s

**Physical & Working conditions**
- The work environment will be based in an office

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

- 10 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:
