**Production Planner (Golspie West and PARC)**
- Planning, preparing, and maintaining production schedules for manufacturing of industrial or commercial products.
- Creating the master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to ensure shipping dates are met according to customer orders.
- Working closely with Production Team members, Engineers, Buyers, and Suppliers to ensure schedules reflect their requirements and adjust as necessary.
- Proactively identify risks and manage issues; create mitigation plans with leadership team.
- Planning and scheduling workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
- Developing automated scheduling in departments where required.
- Provide continual improvement of the planning and reporting processes.
- Lead the transition to an Advance Planning System with our new ERP system.
- The ability to understand Lean concepts and process improvements.
- The ability to develop collaborative solutions using business and technical expertise.
- Good oral and written communication with the ability to work with a group to reach consensus on a plan.
- A detail-oriented and highly organized approach to their work with the ability to multitask.
- Previous experience implementing process and/or leading process improvement initiatives.
- Experience utilizing an MRP/ERP system.
- Experience with planning, production, and warehouse transactions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- The ability to implement schedule management process consistent with customer requirements and internal processes and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A post-secondary degree or diploma (considered an asset).
