Established in 1919, Fort Garry Fire Trucks is Canada’s leading manufacturer of quality fire trucks. Fort Garry Fire Trucks is looking to hire a full-time permanent Production Planner/PDM Coordinator. In this position, you will perform both roles to augment an existing team.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Creating bills of material and manufacturing routings based on engineering drawings.
- Releasing production work orders.
- Configuring fire apparatus in MRP software based on customer specifications.
- Posting tasks to the Engineering department as needed.
- Coordinating an ongoing project to verify and adjust production routings to ensure accurate costing.

**Applicant requirements**:

- Strong computer skills including Excel, Word and MRP software
- Fluent spoken and written English, and good interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt, multitask and meet timelines
- Reliable transportation: bussing is not available at our location
- Legally entitled to work in Manitoba

**Strong preference is given to those with the following**:

- Post secondary education in mechanical engineering technology or similar and/or
- Training in Supply Chain Management
