Pentagon Manufacturing is looking for an experienced Inventory Control Clerk to take responsibility for cataloging, maintaining, and issuing raw material. This person will be responsible for ensuring safe proper storage, proper inventory, and maximum yield of raw materials.

**Job Duties**
- Read and understand drawings and specifications
- Inspect, test or measure materials or products ready for shipment or products being produced
- Maintain safe and organized storage of materials
- Use software to determine cutting plans to reduce waste
- Ensure use of appropriate material for each job
- Monitor or observe operations to ensure we meet production standards
- Recommend adjustments to the process or assembly.
- Collaborate with the manufacturing team to optimize processes
- Report to management on activities and issues
- Support production functions as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of two (2) years experience in Inventory Control in a manufacturing environment
- Attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Problem-solving abilities
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted
- Able to work on foot for extended periods of time
- Reliable mode of transportation
- Flexibility and availability for shift work & OT as required
- Other duties as assigned

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
