**The Role**

The Northwestern Polytechnic Music Conservatory is looking for energetic and enthusiastic staff who enjoy working with children between the ages of 7 and 15. This position is working for NWP's Conservatory Kid's Summer Camps as a Lead Instructor at the Grande Prairie Campus. We are currently looking for Lead Instructors for the following summer camps:

- Musical Theatre Camp
- Choir Camp
- Drama Camp
- Piano Camp

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Plan, organize and deliver high quality, safe camp activities/curriculum that is stimulating and enjoyable for all level of participants.
- Provide leadership, energy and camp spirit, constantly assessing group dynamics and the needs of the individual campers.
- Take primary responsibility for the health, well-being and happiness of campers.
- Assume responsibility and encourage respect for personal property, and the care of materials, equipment, and facilities.
- Provide excellent customer service to parents by communicating with them about their camper's experience.
- Maintain professional status through communication with students, parents, and program coordinators.
- Report all concerns, accidents and incidents to immediate supervisor for follow up, and take appropriate action.
- Support camper sign-in and sign-out procedure
- Contribute and participate in all camp activities and snack and lunch supervision and programming.
