This position requires Class 3 License with air, operation of various equipment, including directional drill, hydrovac, skid steer etc. Pay will be based on skill set and benefits offered after 6 months. Must provide a clear drivers abstract and criminal background check. Hot dig and safety watch certification would be considered an assset.

Must be able to work in a team environment and on your own.

**Summary**

As a Hydrovac and Equipment Operator, you will be essential in executing excavation tasks safely and efficiently, reporting directly to the Site Supervisor. This role requires a Class 3 Licence and proficiency in heavy equipment operation, including excavators and backhoes. You will contribute to various construction projects, ensuring quality and adherence to safety standards while utilizing relevant skills in equipment operation. **Responsibilities**
- Operate hydrovac equipment and heavy machinery, including excavators, directional drills and skid steer, to perform excavation tasks safely and efficiently.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Follow project plans and specifications while collaborating with team members to complete construction tasks.
- Maintain a valid Class 3 Licence and adhere to all safety regulations and protocols on-site.
- Assist in horizontal drilling and other specialized operations as required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.50-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
