Project Manager

Established structural steel detailing company seeking a Project Manager who is able to read, understand and manage the flow of architectural and structural drawings, manage and coordinate detailing to ensure that all projects are completed efficiently and on time.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Minimum 5 years experience in project management, experience in structural steel detailing.
- Knowledge in building codes and CISC and AISC standards for structural steel an asset.
- Ability to constructively participate in negotiations and disputes resolution.
- Preparation of project schedule and monitor progress for all levels of product delivery.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, General Contractors, and shop/field workers, etc.
- Must understand and manage the flow of architectural, structural drawings and shop drawings.
- Create and submit RFI’s, price change orders, manage drawing submittals and correspondence.
- Be proficient in reading and interpreting structural and Architectural drawings.
- Ability to meet the requirements of productivity, quality and customer service.
- Working knowledge of TEKLA Structure, Bluebeam and Microsoft Windows/Excel/Word.
- Must be dependable and present a professional image.
- Ability to carry out assignments independently.

**Salary**: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
