The Program Evaluator will consult with the program submissions team and Senior Management team for all Palliative Care related programs.

**PTIB Standards**:
**Credential Requirement**:

- Relevant credential plus a minimum of two years of occupational experience in career occupations relevant to the program of instruction.
- No credential but a minimum of ten years of occupational experience in a career relevant to the program of instruction.

**Educational Background**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing, Social Work, Palliative Care, or a related healthcare field.

**Professional Experience**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in palliative care, hospice care, or related healthcare services.
- Deep understanding of the principles and practices of palliative care, including interdisciplinary care, symptom relief, and patient advocacy.
- Previous experience in curriculum development or healthcare education preferred.
- Familiarity with relevant certification standards, ethical considerations, and legal issues in palliative care.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with academic and clinical teams.
- Commitment to patient-centered care, empathy, and compassionate caregiving.

**Skills and Competencies**:

- In-depth knowledge of pain and symptom management, including pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions.
- Expertise in psychosocial, emotional, and spiritual support for patients and their families.
- Ability to integrate ethical frameworks and cultural sensitivity into course content.
- Familiarity with tools for advanced care planning and decision-making in palliative settings.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills to guide curriculum design and improvement.

**Compensation**:

- This will be a contract position that will pay $250.00 to $300 Canadian per project

**Campus visit required**

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $80.00-$100.00 per hour
