**The Opportunity**
ZE Power Engineering is an innovative industry leading company that provides engineering services to the electric utility industry. We are currently seeking an individual as a Civil Engineer in administrative tasks and provide support tothe company. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a great team environment at a fast-growing company.
**Responsibilities**
- Civil CAD Technicians oversee the production of drawing deliverables for various projects and client requirements.
- Management of these deliverables starts from data consolidation (basemap) through proposed design/analysis to issued production (IFR, IFP, IFC) and construction field review (as-built).
- Working closely with the department Team Leads, the CAD Technician will gain the technical and procedural knowledge required in:
- collect, review, and process topographical and utility GIS data.
- create CAD models for design and analysis (data consolidation).
- production of drawing packages (deliverables), including production of plan views, profiles, details, and isometric views.
**Qualifications**
- Graduate from an accredited post secondary program in Civil Engineering Technology or CAD/BIM Technology.
- 3-5 years in a CAD related role for a professional engineering company.
- Prior experience in using Autodesk Civil 3D.
- Previous experience working with topographical data process, municipal utilities, and georeferenced drawings.
- Previous experience working with alignments and profiles in Autodesk Civil 3D is preferable.
- Knowledge of GIS and Mapping software is beneficial.
- Excellent on time management skills, setting priorities, and to complete the deliverables on time.
- Self motivated, able to stay productive working remotely, and able to attend office meetings as requested by the corporation.
