**JOB DESCRIPTION**
**POSITION TITLE/DEPARTMENT: PERSONAL SUPPORT WORKER**
**Position Type**: Full-time/Part-time

**Job Region/Location**: Toronto (Main Office), North York, Scarborough, Brampton, Mississauga, and surrounding areas

**Reporting Relationship**: Primary - Managing Director

Secondary - HR Manager

**Level of Authority**: None (non-supervisory)
**POSITION OVERVIEW**
Our Personal Support Workers provide In-Home Personal Care, Safety Supervision, Nutritional Meal Planning and Services. This includes assisting clients in their day-to-day activities and crucial tasks, ensuring that each action is done with outmost sensitivity, compassion, and efficiency. Our PSWs are diverse, well-trained, and experienced in their duties and responsibilities.
**PERSONAL SUPPORT WORKER’S RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Daily Living Activities such as Dressing, Bathing, Grooming, Toileting, Mobility, Medication Reminders, and many more
- Light Housekeeping
- Meal Planning and Preparation
- Companionship and Assistance in going to appointments
- Grocery Shopping and other errands

**PERSONAL SUPPORT WORKER’S REQUIREMENTS**:

- Personal Support Worker Certificate
- NACC Certificate
- First-Aid and CPR Certificate
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
- Immunization Records with Tuberculosis Test
- Vulnerable Sector Police Check
- Covid - 19 Vaccination Record
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and/or any other languages

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 25 per week

**Salary**: $16.00 per hour
