**Position Details**

Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is currently seeking **local** LeadHand Carpenter's with Doka **formwork** **experience** for work at our SAIT project in Calgary, AB

- Benefits and RRSP Provided As Per Collective Agreement
- Location: Calgary, AB
- Schedule: Evening Shift - Monday - Friday (3:30PM-1:00AM)
- Duration: Short term, roughly 1.5 months of work

**What You Will Be Working On**

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirement
- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and/or other materials
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and or roof systems
- Fit and install trim items such as doors, stairs, molding and hardware

**What We Are Looking For**

- **Applicants with formwork experience will only be considered**
- At least 2 years of commercial experience
- CSTS 2020
- WHMIS 2015
- ESC Fall Protection
- ECS MEWP
- Extensive knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work
- Experience on major industrial project sites
- The ability to lift, carry and handle weight up to 50lbs
- Must be organized, self-driven, and have ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
