Squamish Campus Coordinator

Classification: Project Employee

Rate of pay: $29.42 per hour

Hours of work: 70 hours per pay period

Reports to: Associate Executive Director

Under the supervision and guidance of the associate executive director, the Squamish campus coordinator is responsible for engaging with members of the Capilano Students’ Union at Capilano University’s Squamish Campus and coordinating service delivery provided by the CSU to our members. The campus coordinator shares a reporting relationship with the associate executive director.

**Note: Occasional travel to and from the North Vancouver campus may be required.**

**Duties**

In particular, the Squamish campus coordinator performs the following duties:
**Administrative Support (30%)**
- Provides a reception presence at the CSU’s Squamish campus office.
- Coordinates the maintenance and repair of the CSU’s Squamish campus spaces.
- Coordinates the day-to-day operations of the CSU’s Squamish campus office, including mail, shipments, deliveries, and space bookings. Collaborates with the office coordinator to monitor inventory levels and coordinate supply orders.

**Member Services (60%)**
- Coordinates the adaptation and delivery of our member services on the Squamish campus including the CSU Health and Dental Plan, locker rentals, the Community Cupboard food bank, the Community Closet clothing and home goods exchange, and merchandise and service sales.
- Supports members with referrals to additional services and resources, including the Student Rights Office advocacy and appeal support, Device Doctor device repairs, and access to Reboot refurbished devices.
- Maintains service areas, ensuring that they are always “member-ready.”
- Plans and executes student engagement activities to determine students’ priorities and preferences for active, outdoor, and wellness activities.
- Develops and executes a program of on-campus social activities that help to build student life and community, in consultation with student leadership and, where appropriate, in collaboration with the university’s student life team.
- Executes all logístical, administrative, and behind-the-scenes activities delivering student programming within the portfolio, including space and calendar bookings, catering orders, equipment bookings, and supply purchases.

**Other Duties (10%)**
- Work safely, in accordance with the CSU’s health and safety policy.
- Protect the personal information of coworkers, students, and the public.
- Perform other duties as directed.
