Concord, Canada TCAT Div of Toromont Industries Ltd Full time

Our Recruiter will take a strategic and hands-on approach to make connections between top talent and opportunities at Toromont Cat - including our Quebec Operations. Our Technical Recruiter will source, identify, recommend and influence hiring managers in the selection process. This role will effectively drive business goals and ensure Toromont Cat maintains a competitive advantage in attracting top talent into to our organization.

**In a typical day, YOU will**:

- Promote and participate in workplace safety, environmentally sound, healthy behaviors at all times in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policy, Programs and initiatives
- Collaborate with the Recruitment Team to source top talent and support the business in meeting Company goals
- Effectively source skilled trades (Apprentices, Technicians and other industrial professionals) through various approaches including social networking, virtual and in-person events (open houses), employee referrals, career fairs, etc.
- Build and maintain talent networks that are aligned to Toromont’s business needs across all territories
- Arrange and perform pre-screening, behavioral and competency-based interviews and provide recommendations for potential hires
- Contribute to ongoing improvements for our recruitment processes in support of organizational and departmental goals
- Coordinate tasks in support of achieving the Recruitment Team's business goals

**Must-haves for this role**:

- Post-Secondary Education from an accredited Human Resources Program; or experience working as a Technician, and effective communication skills
- Effective knowledge of the heavy equipment industry and Cat Equipment
