**Overview**
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tire Technician to join our automotive service team. Working as a part of the shop team, the Tire Technician is responsible for executing any/all tire related services as outlined below.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Tire Services**
- Install, repair, and replace tires on a variety of vehicles with precision and care
- Perform installation and proper balancing of newly installed tires ensuring that all check-points have been covered such as proper inflation, rotation, etc.
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete tire-related tasks efficiently
- Accurately record services performed for each vehicle
- Assist with tire storage/retrieval as needed

**Shop Related**
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to ensure safety standards are met
- Ensure that all equipment and general parts required for tire services are well maintained and that shop supplies are replenished appropriately and in a timely manner.

**Customer Service**
- Ensure customer vehicles are kept clean and free from any damages while in our possession.

**General**
- Full time position, no seasonal layoffs.
- Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with some seasonal Saturday shifts of 9am-1pm

**Requirements**:

- Some prior experience/knowledge in the automotive trade is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to automotive systems and tire technology is an asset
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance equipment is an asset
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds or more)
- Knowledge of automotive repair procedures and safety protocols is an asset
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license preferred but not mandatory depending on job location or specific duties
- Willingness to learn

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
