Kingston, Canada McCoy Bus Service Full time

McCoy Bus Service is currently seeking a Driver Trainer & Development person to help and support our drivers to be the safest and best drivers in the industry. As the driver trainer & development person, you will review and vet driver applicants. You will work with new drivers to develop their skills in a variety of passenger transportation vehicles from vans to motor coaches and school buses to enable them to be safe and competent bus operators. You will assist and train drivers in the use of our Electronic Logging system for accurate Hours of Service tracking as well as assist and support our drivers to ensure a good working knowledge of all the various buses we offer. You will also work closely with our maintenance garage and our charter and dispatch departments.
- Have a BZ or CZ license with a clean driving record, or have the ability to obtain a CLASS B license if currently only having a CZ.
- Have at least 3 years of experience in the School Bus or Motor Coach industry.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to communicate clearly and effectively and speak to individuals or small groups in a confident manner.
- Have the ability to communicate and work as a member of a team.
- Having the verifiable ability to teach proper road driving techniques both over the road and in a classroom setting.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm. There may be an element of on-call time required that is fully compensated.

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
