Our Yorkdale Volkswagen store is looking for a Financial Services Manager to oversee all aspects of financing and leasing and assists Sales Consultants in all areas of financing, keeping them advised of the status of contracts. This position is the primary contact with financing and leasing sources and ensures that the proper preparations for finance and lease contracts are error free. The Financial Services Manager will work along side a performance coach on a monthly basis.

In addition, they will provide support to the Sales Consultants by providing them with instruction and skill-building in areas of financing so they may properly qualify clients. In conjunction with the New Car Sales Manager, the Financial Services Manager ensures proper follow-up with leasing clients.

**Major Duties and Responsibilities**
- Understand Volkswagen’s Financial Service Programs, as well as competitive finance sourcing options and effectively use the menu selling process.
- Communicate to Sales Consultants all relevant information pertaining to programs, manufacturer’s and financial sources and finance tools to ensure that Sales Consultants present clients with the best buying or leasing options.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of available sources of new and pre-owned financing.
- Tailor financing packages to the needs of each client. Explain the package to the client so they have a solid understanding of their financing package.
- Ensure all paperwork is properly submitted to Financial Services and that contract approval is received as expeditiously as possible. Before submitting paper, review all documents for errors.
- Report the approval status of client contracts to the respective Sales Consultant and Sales Manager(s).
- Work with marginal credit cases, as well as pre-owned leasing and business leasing clients to make every effort to ensure client satisfaction.
- Manage the lease and finance portfolio, ensuring that Sales Consultants provide appropriate follow-up with leasing clients.
- Understand and comply with all OMVIC and provincial regulations. Process all required paperwork as required by OMVIC and all other relevant legislation.
- Work with Sales Consultants to secure a reasonable profit from every sale.
- Coordinate finance forecasting with sales department forecasting to achieve desired levels of penetration and income.

**What You Will Bring To The Team**:

- Completion of post-secondary education in an automotive program, business program or a relative field or, 3-5 years of experience as a Financial Services Manager in the automotive environment.
- Valid OMVIC license or ability to obtain license.
- G Class Ontario Driver’s License.
- Able to attend off-site training.
- Prior accounting, leasing, banking or financial experience is beneficial
- Automotive sales experience preferred.
- Experience in a customer service role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong listening and computer skills.
- Team player, quick thinker, and able to multi-task.
- Proven interpersonal skills; ability to form and maintain relationships and engage with people.
- Strong problem analysis.
- Must be available to work on Saturday’s and evenings.
- Experience with selling SymTech Advantage, an asset.
