Bilingual Housing First Practitioner

Options Bytown is looking for a dynamic individual to join our Housing First team in the position of Bilingual Housing First Practitioner
This position involves providing support and resource services to our clients who are currently living in shelters or recently housed. The successful applicant needs strong critical thinking skills with an emphasis on crisis management.
Roles and responsibilities include intake and assessment of new clients, assisting to secure housing, providing on-going supports, and discharge or exit planning.
You must have relevant post secondary education, as well as a valid drivers license and reliable access to a vehicle.
Experience in case management is considered a strong asset.
You should have a strong knowledge of social issues and challenges that individuals face when homeless. Knowledge about the RTA would be beneficial for the position, and experience working with vulnerable populations is an asset.
*These positions are designated as vehicle essential.

Pay: $56,000.00-$62,000.00 per year
