**The Opportunity**:**Become a Vidir Hero at our** **Arborg, MANITOBA **facility. Level up your career as an**:**Electrical Assembler**
The Electrical Assembler is responsible to wire a variety of Vidir products in a team environment according to the production schedule. The electrical assembler will ensure that the products are wired to meet the high standard of quality that we offer to our customers.
**Responsibilities**:
- Safely assemble and wire electrical components for Vidir’s various final products according to documentation requirements, reliably and quickly.
- Monitor parts inventory in respective areas of work.
- Troubleshooting electrical malfunctions and issues.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in terms of safer operations, higher quality, lower cost, and reduction of waste.
- Demonstrate the accountabilities under Vidir’s Safety Management System and Continuous Improvement Programs and lead by example.
**Qualifications**:
**A combination of education and experience will be considered.**
- High School Diploma or GED
- Post Secondary Diploma in Electrical Applications is preferred.
- Proficiency with basic hand tools
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Background in electrical work
- Experience reading and following assembly drawings
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Proficient in use of hand tools such as soldering iron, crimping, wire stripping.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Basic Computer skills
