Electrical Assembler

In this role, you will ensure that the products are wired to meet the high standard of quality that we offer to our customers.
**REQUIREMENTS/DESIRED EXPERIENCE**:
- Must have minimum 2 years experience as an electrical assembler.
- Experience building industrial control panels.
- Marking and drilling of material from drawings.
- Experience working with hand tools, for example wire strippers, crimpers, drills, electric impacts.
- Knowledge of relays, PLC’s, control systems.
- Ability to read electrical schematics.
- Installation and wiring of electrical components.
- Troubleshooting using multi-meter.
- Experience with soldering.
- This position requires the ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Identify safety hazards. Communicate to the team lead when a hazard is spotted. Ensures the safety of both themselves and all people throughout Tamarack.
- Familiar with hazards specific to working with electrical equipment when wiring and testing final products.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proficiency with basic hand tools
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Background in electrical work
- Experience reading and following assembly drawings
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Proficient in use of hand tools.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Basic Computer skills
