Limelight is looking for a **FP&A Performance Consultant **to join the team
Reporting to the Director of Client Experience, we are looking for a Finance and Performance Consultant who is a customer-oriented problem solver with a strong financial analytical background and technical knowledge. You will be working with a team of Project Managers, Data Analytic Consultants, and Solutions Architects in our matrix environment to ensure our Limelight platform rollouts super exceed clients’ expectations.
**FP&A Performance Consultant**
As a Finance and Performance Consultant, you will work closely with key stakeholders in finance (CFO, VP, Director, Controller) to connect their strategic goals to FP&A model design. You must have a deep understanding of the FP&A planning/reporting process, knowledge of metrics that Finance leaders hold their business accountable to, and challenges at all levels within the FP&A function. Intimate knowledge of financial statements is a must.
Your main responsibilities will be to partner with key decision-makers in finance to host Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions. These sessions act as the kick-off for our projects where functional requirements and technical requirements are discussed and translated into the model design that will support the FP&A modernization initiative we’ve been engaged to deliver. You must be able to speak the language of finance, dive deep into their planning/reporting and bring forward best practices that will enhance their process.
This role requires a Finance foundation in addition to a technical understanding of FP&A models built on data models & hierarchal structures.
As part of this role you will:

- Work closely with clients' Finance leadership teams to uncover where improvements can be made within their FP&A processes and to understand what outcomes their strategy is targeting
- Deliver JAD sessions to extract the technical/functional requirements
- Translate technical/functional requirements from JAD sessions to model design documentation
- Develop reporting within Limelight to support the delivery and implementation of the project
- Minimum 2 years experience in FP&A
- Minimum 2 years of consulting experience
- Experience with building FP&A models
- Strong finance and accounting background
- Project management is an asset
- Understanding of data governance principles and best practices
- Skilled in communication with clients and team members
- Focused on relationship building and client centricity
- Having worked with ERP or other FP&A products is value-add
- Knowledgeable of market trends within FP&A and Performance Management
