**Role Description - Service Team Lead - Full Time Permanent Opportunity**

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Service Team Lead will be primarily responsible for conducting as well as overseeing yard maintenance and snow clearing. The Service Team Lead will assist the Operations Manager in planning and directing daily and weekly operations to ensure services scheduled for completion are executed in a timely manner and meet all quality and safety standards. They will perform duties that lead in the maintenance of lawns and gardens and safe clearing of snow and control of ice.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

- Perform as well as oversee yard maintenance and snow clearing duties throughout the year that services a variety of residential properties.
- Sets the example for team members on expectations, accountability, and attitude.
- Balances workload and supports the Operations Manager in assigning work to team members on a day-to-day basis to support Company service delivery requirements and customer satisfaction objectives.
- Supports Operations Manager with organizing, prioritizing, and monitoring day-to-day tasks to ensure all required daily work is completed on time.
- Operates vehicle to transport teams to work sites, completes proper inspections on vehicles and equipment, and supports with completing minor repairs and maintenance procedures of equipment.
- Schedules and executes on-the-job training for Service Technicians to maintain and upgrade team member versatility.
- Leads and participates in service delivery improvement initiatives as required for the work team.
- Monitors work activities to ensure quality standards are maintained and safety practices, policies and procedures are followed.
- Works closely with team members to resolve service delivery issues in a timely manner.

**Your Qualifications**

You possess the following education, experience, and skills:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Service Technician role, servicing residential properties, specifically with grounds maintenance and snow clearing.
- Completion of a High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience leading a small team is preferred.
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License is required with a clean Drivers Abstract.
- Valid First Aid/CPR Certification is an asset.
- Must possess safe work habits with an awareness of safe work procedures regarding hazardous products, chemicals, tools, and equipment.
- Willing to work flexible schedule. May also include longer shifts greater than eight (8) hours per day. Willing to work on weekends and holidays.
- Majority of shift will be working remotely at customer sites. This position is expected to travel frequently (90% in the metro area of assigned territory).

Salary is commensurate with experience, with a range of $40k to $55k.
