**Position Overview**
We are looking for a seasoned and strategic **Controller** to lead the financial operations of both companies, with a **primary focus on the dynamic and expanding operations of Xtreme Cold**. **Reporting directly to the President**, this role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong analytical and operational finance experience in logistics, transportation, or manufacturing environments.
This is a full-time, **on-site position based in Dieppe, NB**, offering the opportunity to play a key leadership role in two growth-focused companies with global reach.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead and manage all accounting, bookkeeping and financial reporting functions for both companies
- Prepare consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and liaise with our banking partners
- Oversee budget preparation, forecasting, and performance analysis
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and relevant regulatory standards
- Optimize internal controls, financial systems, and operational accounting workflows
- Liaise with auditors, banks, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reporting and operational efficiencies
- Support strategic planning, including evaluation of new services and global market expansion
**Qualifications**
- CPA designation (or equivalent) is a strong asset
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience
- Experience in 3PL, transportation, cold storage, or manufacturing is an asset
- Solid knowledge of international logistics, warehousing, and export compliance is an asset
- Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, ERP platforms) and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills, financial modeling experience, and attention to detail
- Bilingual in English and French is an asset

Pay: $85,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
