SIN Structures Inc., a division of Steelcon Fabrication Inc., in St. Catharines, Ontario is seeking a Material Handler to work as part of a team that follows best practice processes to ensure customer service is efficient and provides accurate, good quality structural steel materials. A material handler maintains production and distribution of materials by pulling orders from inventory; delivering production materials and supplies; staging finished product.

**As a material handler, you will contribute to our team by**:
Handling materials for various operational processes including inventory control to identify and track materials that are being loaded

Actively and safely operating crane machines to assist with the following:
loading or unloading structural steel materials onto flatbed trucks

loading steel on to the machines

organizing steel materials from suppliers

off-loading and stockpiling beams after fabrication

unloading supplier trucks and stockpile for use

Documenting product shipment by recording materials shipped.

Demonstrating a strong commitment to safety and participate in all group health and safety meetings

Complying with all safety protocols and procedures and adhere to all company practices, procedures, codes of conduct and participate in all Health and Safety training conducted by the company.

Communicating and working with other team members to ensure proper movement of materials throughout the shop

Other duties as assigned

**What you will bring to this role**:
1+ years of crane experience preferred, but not required

Strong attention to detail and the ability to easily adopt new processes

Required to meet changing business needs

Ability to work at heights

Ability to work physically demanding requirements

Without compromise, maintain a safe and clean workplace

Upholding company policies and procedures

Focused on productivity, quality, and accuracy

Have a willingness to learn
