**Job description**

General Labour

**Over 65 years in business, KRT is the leading provider of industrial waste management** **solutions across Northern Ontario.**

Under the direction of the Plant Manager, the General Labourer is responsible for maintaining the highest standard of safety. Normal work hours will be Monday to Friday approximately 7:00am - 4:00pm but based on business needs.

**Main Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Feeding plastics into a Shredder
- Cutting Totes
- Operating Drum Crusher
- Unloading trucks and assisting in processing industrial waste
- Housekeeping in work areas
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have CSA approved safety work boots
- Must be able to take orders and direction (all other PPE provided including weekly coveralls)
- Valid G License (ideally)
- Must be able to lift up 50 lbs.
- Proven ability to work independently while being a team player
- Must be punctual, team player, dependable, strong oral communication skills.
- Proven commitment to safety, health and environmental standards.

RATE OF PAY: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
