Afternoon Plant Technician

**JOB PURPOSE**:
The Afternoon Plant Technician is responsible for troubleshooting machinery and related equipment within the plant. This role will also occasionally perform mould changes for the afternoon shift. This position will work from Monday - Friday, 3:30 pm - midnight.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Work in a safe manner at all times and report any safety hazards or behaviour to leadership right away
- Troubleshoot and make minor adjustments to equipment; monitor and inspect quality of material produced
- Troubleshoot sensor issues and initiate correction action via appropriate channels
- Maintain records and inventory of equipment, tools, and general supplies
- On occasion, prepare and change moulds and adjust equipment for production line changes
- Maintain plant equipment including moulding machines, robots, and auxiliary equipment
- Perform some machine maintenance
- Sweep, remove garbage/debris, and wipe down areas as needed
- Promote MPC's core values and actively contribute to a positive and rewarding team environment
- Other duties as assigned

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Previous manufacturing experience preferred, but not required
- Basic working knowledge of English, verbal & written
- Basic mathematical skills
- Manual dexterity
- Ability to safely operate necessary equipment
- Forklift Operator Certification preferred
