**Lions Gate Risk Management Group is seeking experienced, licensed Security Personnel in the Province of British Columbia for deployments.** Successful applicants will provide security services on a casual "as and when required" basis, covering **wildfires** and other security operations. Our team consists of law enforcement, military, academic, business, and security industry specialists, all of whom have the knowledge and expertise to provide our clients with a superior level of service. We are proud to hire and train veterans specifically for projects to meet our client's needs, and our team is currently comprised of 63% veterans. **Duties may include**: - Working at check points / fire camps, with mínimal guidance - Recording visitors coming and going from check points or fire camps - Checking all vehicles entering restricted areas - Checking passes that have been issued by the Regional District (Fire Ops) - Assisting RCMP/Police and fire fighters at the check points - Co-operating at scenes with other members and agencies - Coaching new members when required **Required Qualifications**: - Current BC Security license holder (Security Officer, Consultant, or Investigator) - Class 5 driver's license - Must have 2 years of security service or related experience - Law enforcement background (Police, military, sheriff, corrections) preferred - Exceptional written (e.g. report writing) and spoken English communication skills - Good physical fitness **Additional Information**: - On-call, casual basis (There are no guaranteed hours, but you must be ready to work full-time if required.) - 12 hour deployments (shifts times will vary) **Perks of the job**: - $30-35/hour based on experience and deployment - Per Diem will be provided - Accommodations to be provided pending the deployment - Mileage paid - Travel time paid **How to apply**: Please submit your current resume listing work experience and cover letter.
