**We are looking for an experienced commercial insurance Broker (Client Service Manager) for our Halifax Office**

As a Client Service Manager, you will be responsible to provide support to our Producers and service their clients. This position will also provide, where required, exemplary service and products to new and existing clients by building and fostering strong relationships with insurers and other industry service providers.

**Your day as a Client Service Manager**
- Proactively support a book of businesses by reviewing the client’s exposure, loss history and proposing appropriate coverage’s and/or solutions.
- Ensure maximum retention of book by providing exceptional client service, regularly contacting existing clients to ensure quality service is being delivered.
- Identify needs of prospective clients through research and involvement with relevant resources, utilize division and corporate resources when possible.
- Place new business as well as renewals and endorsements in a timely and efficient manner.
- Review policy wordings and other documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Participate in industry functions and targeted public relations activities.
- Maintain extensive market and client relationships.
- Oversee the preparation of underwriting submissions; maintain appropriate documentation for various accounts and/or correspondence.
- Maintain expiry lists, records, and policy files to ensure that they are organized and up to date.
- Request and follow up with insurers for outstanding information, endorsements, or policy documentation.
- Establish appropriate procedures for claims administration and loss prevention activity.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding client receivables.
- Work with accounting to resolve accounting discrepancies and related issues.
- Perform other duties and special projects as required.
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in insurance.
- Nova Scotia insurance license (and ability to obtain additional Provincial Licenses).
- CIP or CAIB designations preferred.
- Good understanding of commercial property, liability, and auto insurance.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of EPIC is an asset.
- Strong with Microsoft Office.
- Customer focused and sales oriented.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Bilingual (French and English).
