**Summary**

As a Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in the financial operations of our company. You will work closely with the finance team and management to ensure accurate financial reporting, timely record-keeping, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

**Responsibilities**
- Perform accounting functions for various divisions and/or subsidiaries.
- Perform variance analysis on costs and revenues.
- Preparing accounting and other required reports and projects based on the analysis performed.
- Establishing and evaluating records, statements, and profit plans.
- Identifying financial performance trends, financial risks and making recommendations.
- Create schedules to support account reconciliation.
- Perform bank account and other general ledger account reconciliations.
- Process journal entries
- Assist with complex spreadsheets, month-end entries, and annual audit.
- Assist with budget and forecasting.
- Assist with the payroll process in ADP.
- Generate reports in ADP for WSIB & Benefits for payment.
- Assist with documenting procedure guides & policy writing for accounting.
- Ad hoc reporting
- Mentor junior members of the finance team
- Provide ongoing support to the finance team and other assignments as requested.

**Qualifications**
- Degree in Accounting, finance, or a related field
- 3-5 Years accounting and bookkeeping experience, preferably in property management
- Intermediate knowledge of full cycle accounting
- Knowledge of Payroll and experience with ADP
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Professional accounting designation.
- Experience using INFOR ERP system is an asset.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and other productivity software
- Ability to train junior staff.

- Criminal Record & Judicial Matters Police Check

- Strong financial analysis skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal with internal and external, customers and business partners and contacts.
- Strong organizational and stress management skills.
- Ability to read, write, speak English.

**Working Conditions**
- Hours of Work: Monday to Friday (8:30am - 5pm)
- Ability to stand/walk for up to 8 hours each day.
- Ability to lift up to 20lbs independently.
