**Essential Duties / Responsibilities**:

- Trouble shoots and maintains plant equipment.
- Provide project support and coordination.
- Work with reliability team to improve equipment availability.
- Maintains/trouble shoots PLC, computer software, hardware and variable speed drives, calibrates and maintains steam and water control valves.
- Passes on information, experiences and knowledge to other maintenance employees in regards to repair jobs, preventive maintenance, problem symptoms, etc. which he/she may be involved with during his/her shift.
- Maintains safety standards of equipment and work area according to established procedures and as instructed by the manager.
- Required meeting participation.
- Ensures work areas are kept clean, organized and tidy at all times.
- Lead team with reliability and accountability.
- Works in a cost-effective manner and maintains a high standard of quality and excellent workmanship.
- Participate in ongoing training programs as required to maintain and enhance skills.
- Responsible for trouble free operation of all equipment on site.
- All other assigned tasks or functions as designated by Maintenance Manager

- Computer Aptitude - computer use as well as an understanding of associated software (i.e. SAP, Excel, Power Point)
- Flexible - must be flexible with your schedule to support plants events and activities.
- Mechanically Inclined - Required.
- PLC Experience would be an asset.
- Network Experience would be an asset.
- Excel in troubleshooting
- Automation Experience
- ** Must be Certified Journeyman**

**Hourly Rate**:

- $53.53
