**General Description**

Financial Planning, Tax, and Estate services are delivered via PWL Conseil, and investment management is delivered via PWL Capital which is a Broker Dealer and CIRO member firm. Both PWL Conseil and PWL Capital are wholly owned subsidiaries of PWL Wealth Management Inc., with more than 95 employees and over 6 billion in assets under management.
**Position Summary**
- Client Service_
- Extensive communication with clients
- Client meeting planning, facilitation, and participation
- Responsible for client meeting debriefs and list of tasks delegation to the team members involved
- Seek to establish a level of trust and confidence with clients
- Financial Planning_
- Collaborate in assessing clients’ financial needs for retirement, tax, and estate planning, formulating financial plans and solutions to fulfill client objectives, implementing financial plans, and monitoring and reviewing them regularly
- Responsible for the preparation of retirement projections, retirement income optimizations, personal balance sheets, pension plan and overall renumeration analysis
- Responsible for the preparation of estate balance sheets, estate tax projections, and estate tax liquidity projections
- Responsible for coordinating with external specialists, the preparation of personal Wills, mandates of protection, general or specific power or attorneys
- Responsible for preparing the spousal loan memo and loan agreement, the loan implementation, and the interest payable
- Collaborate in the development of recommendations with regard to tax, estate, retirement, investment & risk management planning
- Support to the Portfolio Manager _
- Collaborate in the implementation of tax-minimizing strategies (i.e. income splitting, asset location, retirement withdrawals, investment products, tax-loss harvesting, etc.)
- Educate clients and respond to queries on investment accounts (i.e. registered vs. non-registered account, RRSP vs. TFSA, etc.)
- Support the portfolio manager in the establishment of investment policy and portfolio management
**Qualifications and Skills**
- Holds an IQPF diploma or in the process of obtaining it
- Completion of the Canadian Securities and the Conduct and Practices Handbook courses an asset
- Between 2 and 5 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance or accounting or related field
- Ability to communicate effectively in French and English, both orally and in writing
- Experience with financial planning and tax software preferred
- Strong teamwork skills and sense of organizational responsibility
- Analytical and synthesizing skills, writing skills, and attention to detail
- Interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure
