**Driver**

As Driver, you will arrive for an early shift at 4:00am. Complete vehicle safety walk-around and check. Travel to the Market to pick up purchases for the Garden Centre. Load and unload products, complete documentation and follow up with delivery team at the store.

**Duties**:

- Arrive on time for travel to market.
- Able to safely operate a 24 ft. truck.
- Drive to Market. Load purchases onto truck. Check PO’s and listings of products received.
- Obtain signatures of orders/deliveries.
- Safe operating and driving practices. Vehicle safety check.
- Assist with unloading of purchases at the store within reasonable timeframe.
- Communicate with Owners and liaise with other departments as required.
- General vehicle maintenance.
- Other duties as required.

**Qualification**:

- Combination of education and experiences.
- G Driver’s license and good driving record.
- Good written and numeracy skills. Able to manage time effectively.
- Good organization and communication skills. Fluent in English.
- Front end loader experiences and familiar with operation of machinery and safe procedures.
- Positive and friendly attitude.
- 1-2 years of General Labour, Garden Centre and Retail experiences.
- Works well in a team environment.
- Flexible availability. Days, evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
- Able to lift up to 50lbs, bend and twist. Willing to work outdoors, safety boots required.
- Early shift starting at 4:00am

**Experience**:

- truck operation: 2 years (preferred)
- Writing skills: 2 years (preferred)
