Brampton, Ontario, Canada Nova Driver Services Full time $40,000 - $80,000 per year

Primary Function – To Source, Recruit and Screen prospective temporary candidates for the fulfillment and creation of client positions of Nova Driver Services. Duties pertaining to the above position are deemed to include, but not be limited to:

  1. Distribution and collection of applications and screening documents from employees and prospective employees.

  2. Administering any required tests for applicants as required by customers.

  3. Maintain thorough records and personnel files pertaining to applicants and current employees, both paper and electronic based.

  4. Dispatch employees to customer work sites as per orders provided by sales staff.

  5. Scheduling, disciplining and maintaining a paper and/or document trail relating to the hiring, firing, lay-off or termination of employees.

  6. Preparation of and collection from customers of weekly time sheets and processing payroll.

  7. Processing of employee requests such as providing ROE and letters of employment.

  8. Monitoring and managing the Health and Safety and Workplace injuries of candidates within your database to ensure they receive the appropriate treatment for a timely recovery and facilitate their early return to work.

  9. Regular calls to customers to perform attendance checks, reference checks and work quality of employees. Inside sales to increase customer purchases.

  10. Identify and solicit potential clients and arrange and attend meetings with prospective clients and accounts under management.

  11. Market high quality candidates to current and prospective customers as provided by coordinators/recruiters.

  12. Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, fill out search assignments, warranties and fulfillment dates. Prepare and oversee the preparation of sales or other contracts. Maintain client files pertaining to marketing and sales efforts.

  13. Driving to and from Client and Candidate meetings and errands for the Company. Maintaining adequate vehicular insurance for such purpose.
