Job Title: Host/Coat check at a Night Bar
**Duties**:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Escort guests to their designated tables and provide them with menus
- Assist in seating guests according to seating plans and reservations
- Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists
- Answer phone calls and take reservations or provide information about the restaurant
- Manage the flow of guests in the dining area to ensure efficient seating
- Communicate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain a clean and organized host/host station

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with grace and professionalism
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and ability to handle multiple phone lines

You will be responsible for greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth operations in the dining area. Please note that this position requires excellent communication skills, both in-person and over the phone. You should be able to handle guest inquiries, take reservations, and provide accurate wait times. Additionally, strong organizational skills are essential as you will be responsible for managing the flow of guests and coordinating with servers and kitchen staff.
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: $15.50-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
