**Location: St. George, ON**
**SUMMARY**
Drives truck to transport materials to and from specified destinations, by performing the following duties.
.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES **include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Promotes the culture, the mission and vision, and the core values of the company. This includes adherence to and promotion of the company safety beliefs, employee engagement, competencies, code of conduct, and other policies and procedures.
- Promotes safety awareness, accident prevention, and employee involvement with regard to a safe work environment. Ensures employees understand the safety expectations of the organization.
- Drives truck to the customer destinations.
- Maintains electronic truck log, according to state and federal regulations.
- Maintains telephone or radio contact when permitted with supervisor to receive delivery instructions. Loads and unloads truck.
- Performs required inspections on truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
- Home daily and overtime available in busy season.
- Performs required load securement procedures on all product to secure safe transit.
- Performs miscellaneous yard handling and inventory functions as directed.
- Operates fork trucks to load and unload trucks and handle inventory.
**QUALIFICATIONS**

**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Flatbed experience required.
**CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS**
Driver's License, Class A CDL License, and valid medical card as well as meeting all current DOT requirements. Massachusetts IC Hoisting License is required.
