The Ottawa Catholic Child Care Corporation (OCCCC) is a non-profit organization offering non-denominational child care programs for children aged 18 months to 12 years. We operate 24 licensed child care sites throughout the Ottawa area. Our centres are all located in schools operated by the Ottawa Catholic School Board.

**Job description**

A term Assistant Supervisor is required for Emerald Meadows School Age Program located in St. Anne School in Kanata. The program provides kindergarten and school-age care.

Our programs provide relaxed, recreational and educational programs in a child-centred environment, where children can safely learn through play. This philosophy is guided by Conscious Discipline®, an approach which encourages the educators working with the child(ren) to consciously respond to daily conflict, transforming it into an opportunity to teach critical life skills to children. The Conscious Discipline® focus begins with providing safety, both physically and emotionally, for all children; then creates an environment that aids in healthy connections among and with children in order to facilitate meaningful problem-solving.

**Qualifications**

**Requirements**:

- Ability to work between the hours of 7am - 6pm
- A police record check for the vulnerable sector dated within six months.
- Standard First Aid & Infant/Child CPR dated within three years
- Up-to-date immunization records

This term position is for 35 hours per week. The current shift Rotates between

Length of Term: February 3rd, 2025 - October 6th, 2026

Salary $63,282. +4%

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract

Pay: $63,282.00 per year
