**About The Job**:
We are looking for team players who are excited about the work they do to join our Manufacturing team in Winnipeg, MB. Reporting to the Production Manager, Machine Shop, Dixon requires experienced **Machine Operators**.

**Responsibilities**:

- Produce machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines and making adjustments as necessary
- Plans machining according to work orders, blueprints, engineering/quality requirements, and machining parameters
- Follow milling and lathe operation procedures
- Monitor readouts and other machining processes
- Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run parts, and sample workpieces
- Check quality of work using measuring equipment and gauges
- Participate in statistical process control activities
- Perform work within standards, specifications, and QA procedures
- Communication, record keeping, and reporting
- Maintain continuity among work shifts through documentation and communication
- Maintain supplies, stock, and equipment as required
- Maintain work area, tools, and equipment in a clean and orderly manner
- Comply and adhere to all safety rules, procedures, and regulations

**Competencies**:

- Machining/CNC programming certificate/diploma
- Ability to read, interpret, and understand engineering drawing and manufacturing processes
- Demonstrated ability to use various measuring instruments and gauges
- Ability to document processes
- Demonstrated skills in the areas of organization, housekeeping, and maintaining a safe and clean work area
- Mechanically inclined
- Capable of sustained physical effort while working with required processes
- A strong commitment to maintaining a clean and safe workplace
