Inclusion Canada is currently recruiting for a **Regional Navigator - West**. This is a fulltime two-year contract position reporting to the Executive Director, Knowledge Translation & Mobilization. Working in a national team and managing a regional caseload, the Regional Navigator - West will provide individualized, direct assistance to people with intellectual and other disabilities and their families in accessing federal and provincial/territorial disability related benefits and supports. These may include CPP-D, the Canadian Disability Benefit, the Disability Tax Credit, Registered Disability Savings Plan, Veterans benefits, Jordan’s Principle, provincial/territorial disability benefits, and others.
Inclusion Canada employs a team that is distributed across Canada. The Regional Navigator - West position will be based out of our Edmonton, Alberta office. Travel within and outside the assigned region is required.
**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Lead in providing direct navigation support and assisting people with an intellectual disability and their families to access disability related benefits, serving as a resource through the development of comprehensive knowledge on available disability related supports.
- Maintain accurate individual case files and detailed records, preserving strict confidentiality at all times.
- Establish partnerships with community stakeholders including family advocacy associations, member associations, other community organizations and health professionals to promote navigation support.

- Strong interpersonal skills, good judgment, and a collaborative approach
- Attention to detail, strong follow-through, and the ability to remain organized and responsive to immediate needs while balancing a caseload
- Knowledge of the disability sector, and particularly services and supports available to adults with intellectual and other disabilities
- Results-driven
- Digital literacy skills
**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary education or an equivalent combination of education and experience, relevant to social services and supporting marginalized populations
- Demonstrated expertise in person-centered planning and supports for people with disabilities and their families
- Demonstrated experience in case management and coordination skills, including time management, planning, relationship building, problem-solving, and effective leadership
- Demonstrated ability to perform duties in a culturally informed and safe manner
- Comfortable working in a digital/remote environment and team
- Ability to travel within and outside the assigned region
- Verbal and written skills in French an asset

Details: 35hrs/week with comprehensive benefits
Salary range: $50,000 - $60,000 annually depending on experience
