**Summary**

As a Dispatcher, you will be essential in coordinating transportation logistics and ensuring timely delivery of freight. Your role requires strong communication and computer skills to manage data entry and analyze shipping information effectively. Utilizing transportation management systems and your knowledge of supply chain processes, you will facilitate seamless operations. Your ability to handle multi-line phone systems and collaborate with various stakeholders will enhance our service quality. **Primary Responsibilities**:

- Negotiating rates & booking shipments with in-house trucking companies, partner carriers or other trucking companies.
- Follow up with partner carriers on pickup & delivery status.
- Closely track shipment status
- Provide Load Tenders to carriers
- Entering the shipment details into company dispatch system (TMS).
- Verify that all trucking companies have active permits and insurance coverages.
- Ensure delivery commitments are achieved

**Skills Required**:

- Ability to plan and prioritize tasks.
- Minimum 1 years experience in the trucking
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to details
- Ability to manage time effectively and multi-task
- Good computer skills

**Assets**:

- Experience using Blume software is a significant asset
- Familiarity with Dispatch Rail is an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $45,500.00 per year
