Robot Integration Technician

FANUC Canada is currently searching for a** Robot Integration Technician **to work at FANUC Mississauga on a daily basis as part of the Robot Integration Group, and occasionally be required travel to customer sites.
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Complete the safe operation, programming and debugging of FANUC Robots and options
- Confirm Robot bills-of-materials (BOM), software and hardware options, kit and parts quantities, part shortages work-arounds, etc.
- Ensure mechanical, electrical, fluid-power assembly components are unpacked, assembled, integrated, tested, re-packed and shipped in a timely fashion
- Communicate with the Engineering, Project Management and Administration teams to plan incoming and outgoing robots, parts and options, and match all items to PO and BOM, and address any last-minute customer change requests
- Coordinate activities and schedules across several robots and projects to meet the schedule, budget, functionality and quality expectations and complete the related documentation and Oracle ERP steps
- Provide training to customers and coworkers to improve our ability to effectively operate, troubleshoot and maintain the Robots, systems and related peripheral equipment
- Work with the CRC Service group and provide phone support to address shortages, in-field change requests, troubleshooting and warranty reviews
- Post-Secondary Electrical or Mechanical Technician, Journeyman Electrician, Machinist or Millwright education
- Minimum 2 years of machinery design, manufacturing, integration and installation experience are required
- Provide their own hand tools (screw drivers, wrenches, pliers, toolbox, etc.) for use on a daily basis and ability to operate other trade-related industrial tools (e.g. power drills, pump trucks, conduit benders) provided by FANUC
- Read and understand electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic drawings, software flow diagrams and related technical documentation
- Comply with OHSA Laws and FANUC Safety Guidelines and other related policies in a stressful and demanding environment and able to work overtime on a sometimes unscheduled basis
