One of the sunniest regions in BC’s Lower Mainland, Delta embraces three unique communities - Ladner, North Delta and Tsawwassen. The City of Delta is looking for dedicated individuals to join our team and share in our commitment to lead the way in public service excellence.

This is manual work of limited complexity in the performance of cleaning and janitorial tasks on an assigned shift in and around City buildings. After initial instructions and indoctrination, the duties are performed under general supervision and work performance is reviewed and evaluated by a superior for adherence to established standards.

**Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**:

- Good knowledge of the methods, materials, tools and equipment used in janitorial work.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to deal courteously and effectively with the public.
- Ability to perform duties with mínimal supervision.
- Skill in the use and care of cleaning and maintenance supplies and equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting.

**Required Licences, Certifications & Registrations**:

- Building Service Worker Certificate
- Valid Driver’s Licence for the Province of British Columbia

The City provides a competitive salary of $24.88 per hour + 12% in lieu of vacation, public holidays and benefits.
